I am currently a junior at Texas State University. I am majoring in Public Relations with a focus in Digital Media and I am minoring in Recreation Administration.
Some things I love to do in my free time are hang out with my family and friends, watch sports (specifically the USWNT Soccer Team or the Texas State Volleyball Team), and watch horror movies. I could watch movies all day, every day.
I am currently working with the Texas State University Sports Information Department for the athletic department. There, I assist with live stats, post game press conferences, and the social media side of Texas State Athletics. During the sporting seasons, I film and edit the post game press conferences. This job gives me the best experience in my future career field. Here I have learned, and I am still learning, how to do things in the PR sports world.
My goal when I graduate is to use the skills I have learned throughout my studies and to help whatever company, business, or organization I end up working with to be successful in any any project or event we might take part in. I am hardworking, determined and able to keep up with a fast-paced environment in which I believe I will succeed.
